Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Synera Lex platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform use
Synera Lex provides a marketplace connecting organisations ("Clients") with legal professionals ("Lawyers"). We facilitate, but are not party to, engagement agreements between Clients and Lawyers unless otherwise stated.
3. User obligations
All users must provide accurate information, maintain the security of their account, and use the platform in compliance with applicable laws. Lawyers must hold current practising certificates where required by their engagement.
4. Payments
Clients agree to pay invoices within the agreed payment terms. Synera Lex processes payments and remits earnings to Lawyers after deducting applicable fees. Payment terms are set out in the Master Services Agreement.
5. Intellectual property
All platform content, design and technology remains the property of Synera Lex Pty Ltd. Users retain ownership of content they upload to their profiles.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synera Lex's liability is limited to the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim. We exclude all implied warranties.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
